Our Story

A History of Excellence

Over 25 years ago, a dream was born.  A dream that dance should be accessible to our community and to every child that wanted to learn.  A dream that every child deserves an equal opportunity to discover their own artistry and receive a solid dance education. That dream is Lake Shore Dance.

Modestly opened in a small space in Saukville, Lake Shore Dance quickly built a reputation for excellent dance training, motivated faculty members, and building a family of dancers that all shared the same passion for dance and performance.

In less than a decade, Lake Shore Dance outgrew its first home and moved to a stunning new space in Saukville, fully equipped with three spacious dance studios to house more classes and better serve our community.

In 2007, an opportunity to reach more dancers in the Ozaukee and North Shore areas presented itself. Lake Shore Dance made the bold leap and opened a second location, rebuilding trust and relevance of the dance industry to the Cedarburg community.

Word spread fast about the innovative and exciting programs at Lake Shore Dance.  Our dance family welcomed new members every year and the progress of our dancers blew us away.

Now seeking a permanent home for our Northern Ozaukee location, Lake Shore Dance moved from its Saukville location to a beautiful building adjacent to Port Washington High School, in Port Washington.

With increasing interest for a program focused first on training and committed to building a supportive community, Lake Shore Dance boldly opened a third location in West Bend to fill the educational gap in Washington County in 2012.

Three locations strong, our reputation and commitment to excellence paints a brilliant future for our communities and our dance family!
